They measured him from his head...
to his toes!
He's a long baby boy!
His stats are:
Weight: 15 lbs 5 ounces (off the charts= above 95th percentile)
Height: 24 1/2 inches (95th percentile)
Head: 16.5 inches (90th percentile)
He's proportionate!
He also had to get 5 shots while we were there and one oral! I decided going in I was going to be strong for Brady, since I'm such a baby when I get them for myself! I did great, but when the nurse brought out the needles I got a lump in my throat and shed a few tears! I don't think I embarrased Brady or myself, so that was a win! Brady screamed while they were doing it! After they were finished, I picked him up and he calmed down immediately.
He received the following shots:
DTaP- Diptheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis Vaccines (these were combined)
Hib- Haemophilus Influenza type B
Hepatitis B Vaccine
Polio Vaccine
Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine
Rotavirus Vaccine
Bandaids for his shots! (they were tweety bird with flowers)
I told him when he's older, we would go out for icecream after his appointments. For now, he gets mama's milk and a new toy!
Brady and his new caterpillar toy!
It's the same length as him!
He's not sure if it was an equal deal!
We go back again for his 4 month checkup!
